Shuttle Bus Driver (Class F or Class B)

• 21 years old
• Possess a valid driver’s license in the United States
• 1-3 years experience driving a 15 passenger shuttle bus
• Must have a license with a class F or B endorsement
• High school diploma or GED
• Permanent resident of the United States
• Must be available 5 days per week
• Five-year MVR with no conviction in the past three years of any of the following:
  • DUI
  • Refusal to take a drug or alcohol test
  • Hit and run
  • Leaving the scene of an accident or careless /reckless driving
  • No DUI in the past 5 years or more than two DUI’s in a lifetime
• Able to pass random drug tests

Responsibilities 

• Shuttle bus driver for a ride share program
• Follow instructions; Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.; locate read location on road maps
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• On time pick-ups and departures
• Load and unload passengers safely
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
• Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day
• Follow all applicable traffic laws
• Keep their shuttle bus, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order

Skills

• Knowledge of Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
• Display patience, empathy, an ability to manage stress, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to adverse situations
• Basic fundamental skills to read, write and speak the English language
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly and eloquent customer service
• Understanding of how to navigate and efficiently use tools
• Dependability
• Outstanding listening skills and communications skills

Various shifts available. Must be able to work on the weekends and holidays.
