Interested in getting your Class A CDL? Need training? If you are a student and want to achieve a lucrative career in the truck driving industry, then Future Truck Drivers of America, LLC is for you. Their main focus is providing students from Tennessee with professional truck driver skills and continued equipment safety training ensuring graduates a road to career success.
Qualifications
21 years old to qualify for job placement assistance
Possess a valid driver’s license in the United States
High school diploma or GED
Permanent resident of the United States
Original or certified copy of a birth certificate to get a permit from the DMV
Five-year MVR with no conviction in the past three years of any of the following:
DUI
Refusal to take a drug or alcohol test
Hit and run
Leaving the scene of an accident or careless /reckless driving
No DUI in the past 5 years or more than two DUI’s in a lifetime
Skills
Display patience, empathy, an ability to manage stress, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to adverse situations
Basic fundamental skills to read, write and speak the English language
Outstanding listening skills
Providing knowledgeable, friendly and eloquent customer service
Understanding how to navigate and efficiently use tools
Knowledge of and experience with measuring and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty across broad functional areas and diverse geographies.
CDL permit training available
We would prefer our students to already have a class a permit. But, if not we offer a four day permit class. (upon request)
Students must have transportation to and from school each day.
