In order to be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • A Clear Speaking Voice and Successfully Pass a Voice Assessment
  • Pass a Background Check (NO credit check required)
  • Dedicated POTS (Plain Old Telephone system) or Digital VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) W/ No Features (no caller ID, call waiting or long distance)
  • Phone Equipment (No Cordless or Wireless phones)
  • Computer (PC or Laptop)
  • Working knowledge of a computer and its functions including – but not limited to:
    knowledge of programs, navigating files, understanding the use of email and how to navigate the internet
  • Ability to navigate through multiple screens
  • A wired mouse and keyboard (no wireless)
  • High-Speed Internet Access
  • Headset
  • Battery Back – up
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely and effectively both orally and in writing.

Computer Equipment

  • Processor: 1 GHz dual core processor or better (HIGHLY COMMENDED)
  • If upgrading from a slower processor, consider purchasing a new
    system, it is usually more cost effective.
  • RAM: 2GB of RAM or better (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
  • Hard Drive: 20 Gigabytes with at least 10 Gigabytes of free space
  • Modem: 56Kbps Internal or External modem
  • CD-ROM & Floppy Drive: 32X Speed CD-ROM R/W, R/W DVD, or a 3 1/2 Floppy (one backup device is needed: CD, DVD, or floppy)
  • Sound Card & Speakers: 24 bit sound card and a set of speakers
    Monitor: 17″-19″ Color monitor capable of 1024×768 resolution or higher
  • Operating Systems: Windows 8 or 8.1, Windows 7, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Home,
    or Windows 2000 Professional, 32-bit only with the latest service pack installed. Please visit Windows Update to ensure all critical updates are installed.
  • Headset: You will need a wired, multi-function headset with microphone. A USB headset is required for training. The headset will be used to take calls, and for online training events as well. Logitech, Plantronics, Microsoft, or similar brands are recommended.

**Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, or Mac OS x 10.10 Yosemite are supported.  System requirments may vary per client.  Windows Vista, XP and 2000 are not supported at this time. Desktop PC’s or Laptop computers with a separate monitor are required. Note: Apple Mac computers may not be compatible with some client programs. Dual boot machines, Netbooks, E-machines , Tablets and All-in-one computers are prohibited from use
